Nettelhorst

Tae Kwon Do at Nettlehorst School will be offered through H.M.D. Academy Chicago. The curriculum focuses on personal achievement without competition, and importance is placed on students' effort not their ability.
In addition to learning the physical skills of Tae Kwon Do, students will learn martial arts etiquette, rules, and regulations (discipline), Korean terminology, and visualization.
Classroom achievements, both physically and mentally, help students form a positive self-image (self-esteem) while training in a structured and positive atmosphere, devoid of the fear of losing, allows the development of assertiveness, not aggression.
With the completion of an essay entitled 'What is your motivation to study Tae Kwon Do? What goals have you set for yourself? How do you plan to achieve your goals?', students will be eligible to promote to the rank of Yellow Belt.
